Had the privelege of attending, with a friend, the Annual Banquet of the Guild of Freeman of the City of London .
The event took place at the Guildhall with around 600 people in attendance. One of the speeches was made by former BBC broadcaster and presenter, Sir John Tusa.
The evening was great fun and I hooked up again with one or two new friends. Great company, great food and I look forward to the next Guild "bash".

Lucky you, I've never been there. Pity you don't have a flickr account so you can share some pics with us. I would recommend you have one for your trek, you can post them en route. The software is free, you can easily download it.
