The 79 year-old Hungarian forward who tormented England in 1953 has passed away. He scored 83 goals in 84 appearances for the Magyars.
Quite possibly the best striker the world has ever seen.
IMO, England still hasn't learnt from that drubbing at Wembley over 50 years ago. Our football is still all gung-ho and no finesse.

Puskas didn't just have great technique, he also had that rare asset- a good footballing brain. About how many of today's footballers can we say that?
I think you're being a bit unfair. Look at most players in the Premiership and other European Leagues. There's always been excellent talent at the top of the game.
